S02.E01: What Can the Damned Really Say to the Damned
Episode description TBD.
WoW. That new episode was super creepy. I think I’ll mostly just lightly follow this show and then binge the episodes when the entire season is out. Don’t feel like watching the whole thing in bits and pieces.
I had forgotten AMC makes you wait until the live airing to watch on streaming. The new Claudia is great, Jacob Anderson brought it as usual. Minimal Lestat which wasn’t surprising. Only 8 episodes this season which is disappointing but I’m looking forward to seeing how this story unfolds.
Watching S03.E03: No Pain
Sam Reid as Lestat is something else- I mean that in a good way. He’s staying true the character but bringing his own take on the character.
I liked the backstory in episode 3 and Lestat kind of “haunting” all of these interactions.
Jacob Anderson as Louis continues to bring a vulnerability and charm to the role, while you never forget that Louis is a monster too.
Loving this season so far.
Why does everyone but Louis know he has mental issues? He’s always so surprised when someone asks him!
Denial is not just a river in Egypt.
So I finished the season.
Too many thoughts but mainly
-
Claudia was robbed!
-
Fuck Armand. (And Lestat, but Armand more!!)
-
Santiago’s death was too quick.
Sam was a vampire working for the Telemasca, assuming they can get the actor back, we will see him next season or on a Mayfair Witches cross over. They need to borrow some of these writers.
Dropping this here. It had me rolling this morning!
The YouTube algorithm brought me this creator and their reactions to the show.
She is so pretty (I love her makeup) and she is HILARIOUS. She reads Lestat for filth, and I’m here for it.
The show has been getting a lot of attention since being added to Netflix. So much tiktok content!
They DESERVE IT. AMC+ doesn’t have many subscribers, I only joined to watch the show because I knew I’d love it.
I use regular old AMC to watch it.
