Jace had a glow-up! I was psyched at the dragonseed scene in the tavern. I lol’ed at Aegon finding Aemond in the brothel, they’re both awful in different ways. Enjoyed Daemon at Harrenhal and especially Simon Strong’s assessment of Larys. The lack of Otto was nice, shame we still have to endure Krispy Kreme’s presence… I was hoping for him to attend a dragon bbq but alas it wasn’t to be. Rhae and Alicent in the sept was a silly scene; as if Alicent wouldn’t have yelled for the guards once she walked away - they’re at war ffs. The whole plan was daft from start to finish.
Daemon’s “I won’t be felled by a plate of peas” line was amusing. More Daemon scenes please!

I agree! Especially liked Simon Strong’s quick & deadpan oath of loyalty to Daemon in the midst of getting down to his dinner. That man knows his way around a dinner plate! And will spit out an oath to whomever is keeping him from it at the moment.
Daemon’s afraid of poisoning but he should be more afraid of catching a disease from breathing the air in that damp, cold, & ill-maintained Harrenhal.

Yes I liked Simon. He kept it real as it were.
Poor Rhaena, she’s always felt “less than” because she doesn’t have a dragon, and she’s been sent away with the BABIES, I know how infantilizing that feels for her. Of course it’s safer but it’s a demonstration that she’s not needed in this war, but is only good to mind the children who should be kept out of harms way to secure the succession if something befalls Rhanerya and Luke.
Alicent- you knew Viserys didn’t change his mind. And you knew your sons (both of them) would be AWFUL rulers, but being the mother of the king (and future kings) would be the only thing that made your life of duty and sacrifice worth it. You also couldn’t bare for Rhanerya, who never followed the rules to come out on top. Let’s take a long look in the mirror MA’AM!
