I’m a huge fan of all versions of this story (except the very awful sequel to the original Cruel Intentions).
I watched this over the weekend. It wasn’t bad, but I just don’t buy this actor as the stepbrother character.
Yeah, the actor playing Lucien isn’t doing it for me. He’s handsome, but he’s not smooth or suave enough to buy as this huge play boy!! I do like that they moved it to college (better storylines) and I kept looking at Claire Folani’s face and going “who is that?” Before it clicked!
This series was weird. It started off kind of interesting and the pacing was so off- episode 8 wrapped up nothing.
I didn’t buy that Lucien had feelings for Anne at all. I did believe that Cece (the actress playing her was the strongest of the bunch) figured out Caroline’s game (she knows her too well).
Well it was something to watch.
