Dream Destinations - Virtually Packing Your Bags

Let’s fantasize! Which places do you dream of visiting someday (and why)?

My top dream beach destinations are:
Bora Bora - looks like paradise
Koh Samui - ^ + Thai food
Bali - ^

Others places include:
Japan - seems like it’d be a fascinating place + food
Croatia - so much history + looks beautiful
Iceland - looks stunning
Switzerland - Swiss fairy-tale castles? YES.

I’ve always wanted to go to Bora Bora and Japan as well.

I also want to visit every Disney Park in the world.

I’m going to be seeing a lot of castles on my trip to Scotland in May, I will share some!

It will probably never happen, but I’d love to go to Italy, Spain, Fiji, Bora Bora, etc. Australia, Japan.

My dream vacation would be somewhere where my family isn’t. JUST ONCE.
To not have to consider anyone else or their agendas on a trip.
(I love them all dearly but r n I just need a me trip.)
But I’d never hear the end of it if I did do that
I owe a trip to my Marine son and his family in Tampa, and my daughter in New Mexico wants me to come visit again.
I wish I could let you all use my free flying privileges (another daughter has worked almost 30 years for a major airline.) It’s very nice to have, but this grammie is TIRED.

Awww. Solo trips are fun. You can go at your own pace and be completely self indulgent. Maybe one day you could do a short 2 night trip on your own without your family giving you a lot of push back.

I would like to travel the world except for Australia. I have no interest to go since pretty much there are too many things there to kill you. (sorry to any Australians).

I’m more fond of sleeping in my own bed than traveling much but if I did exert myself, my first fantasy trip would be New Zealand for a LOTR fan. The second would be to visit family in Wales. (With maybe some Doctor Who/Torchwood tours.)
