Hell’s Kitchen (US) is an American reality television cooking competition (based on the British series of the same name) broadcast on Fox. It is hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
Deadline says the show has been renewed for Season 23 & 24 and it will be shot on a new set at Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut. No premiere dates yet, that I can see.

I watched the season premiere yesterday.
It’s weird seeing the show set on the east coast.
It’s equally strange not having chefs Christina and Jay around.
Since this show is focusing on head chefs this cycle, I hope we will be seeing more competence from this lot, but that might be wishful thinking on my part.
I am surprised only one chef scored lower than a 4 in the signature dish challenge. That has got to bode well, right?
Yeah, probably not, heh.
I usually binge this (and most other things) but if you’re gonna watch week to week, I will too. Also? Your post re: changes is intriguing.

On the cooking side:
Ramsey said miso on steak is “ground breaking” that’s high praise. He had very few criticisms and commended several of the 5s even saying he wanted to give a 6 to one of them. I have my doubts about chocolate and duck though. I believe this is the highest scoring signature dish round in 23 seasons.
Taking bets on which team, if any, will complete dinner service.
On the shallow side:
Hannah’s freckles are so perfect; they look like a make-up artist put them on her face. She reminds me of Ariel Contreras-Fox looks-wise. Kyle looks about 17 not 29. Meghan has an intense presence and a dead-eye stare; looking forward to how translates.
I feel like Hannah’s freckles are painted on. There are apparently kits that you can buy.
I think the Armenian guy is really cute. It’s nice to have a chef to lust after per season, lol.
And yeah, it was strange having chefs Ramsey giving out so many high scores .
As for which team will complete dinner service, I am thinking it will be the red team.
If she does, I feel like such a sucker. lol
Which one is Armenian? I hear you, but nobody is really doing it for me so far. Who knows as the season goes on, I may fall in love. heh.

I’m surprised that nobody fought harder for their dish to be in the top 3, considering it was for a punishment pass. You can’t win if Ramsey doesn’t get to taste your dish.
How did my girl, Whit, salvage that burned salmon? She won the punishment pass!
Whelp, looks like @jewel21 won this dinner service. Oooh, I may have spoken too soon. He threw both teams out of the kitchen.
Magali (Red) and\or Michael (Blue) should go home. Micheal will be safe for a good bit because he aggravates his teammates.
I think I can point and laugh at @jewel21 on this one since a Red team member left.

Yup, looks like we both lost with both teams being kicked out.
I am a bit sad that Shant kept screwing up his station. I had higher hopes for him. Hopefully he pulls it together.
And I have no idea how that chef salvaged her burnt salmon, either. That thing looked charred beyond belief.

Unfortunately, this looks like every other season before it.
I can’t figure out if Egypt is really an asshole or if everybody else is full of shit.
Blue team lost 3 players, 1 eliminated, 1 to injury, and 1 to “I want to go home but can’t just say that, so I’m hurt too.”
I lost this week.

Okay, I watched this last night.
Man, I had high hopes for Shant, originally, but that boy just keeps letting me down. And now he is out with a back injury. Oh well, no eye candy for me this season.
I think Egypt is annoying and full of hubris.

I don’t know, this season is losing me a bit. I find myself coloring on my phone while watching rather than giving it my full attention.
Right now, there isn’t a single chef I am rooting for.
Hopefully someone starts to stand out from the pack.
