We have no dates for the return of Jamie and it makes me sad!
While we have gotten a vague article it will be back in November, no specific date yet, I attribute that to the strikes. I think it was supposed to return in the Spring.
Someone mentioned the delay was probably due to working on that prequel that No one Asked For. EVER. They need to focus and finish THIS show FIRST.
Sorry, Iâm having issues using the bold and italics here.
Yes I know the strikes pushed everything back.
November? That is so far away.
Iâll have to console myself with these Jaimie images til then, ya ken?
I prefer any oâ these, ye ken?
Second half of the penultimate season 7 will premiere Nov 22nd on Starz.
I am so excited!
In full transparency I HATE book tropes when a character leaves a location to turn right around and come back! The letter from Lord John wouldâve done better to have arrived before they left the colonies, because that poor man will be dead in the 6-10weeks itâs going to take them to get BACK never mind however long it took the letter to reach them (letâs say a month).
But, I gasped out loud when I saw Geillis, and my Mom who only started watching in 2020 had to know who she was to make me gasp like that. They are setting things up knowing we have 8 episodes of 7B and maybe 10 of Season 8 and then itâs over.
Where is Jemmy poor baby!!!
Ditto on the gasp about Geillis even though I was spoiled.
I donât like new Jenny. I prefer the other actress. This one is trying too hard.
Laoghaire has a major cheek with her attitude to Jamie and Claire.
How the hell did Roger end up in the wrong time frame?
Anyone still watching?
It was creepy watching Buck meet his soon to be parents and not knowing. What is Roger suppose to say??? âHey this is your mom. She was tried as a witch, Killed a bunch of dudes.â
I donât get how Claire was âcaughtâ passing messages to Washington. Do the British just assume itâs her? Or did someone actually see her drop a note? You would think that someone who has lived through a great war would be a bit more unassuming in regards to spying.
I know itâs in the books as well, but the whole, âmarry me so you wonât be hangedâ i find very plot contrivance. So will she be absolved when Jamie comes back?
Lastly, the whole Rob is in the past with Jem is confusing. Neither Brianne or Roger ever confirmed that Rob was a traveller. So why wouldnât they look for them in the future before hitting the past?
@Greekmom I am still watching, but was off schedule with the holidays so I didnât want to say anything until I got caught up.
Bree/Roger etc is annoying me. Bree would do better staying PUT in the present and waiting on Roger to figure out how to get home. But oh no that would be too easy.
I really like Young Ian and Rachelâs new marriage. I think they are a great fit for each other.
William is 100% Jaime and Lord Johnâs son, through and through, when Jaime said âgo get our sonâ I cheered. Another Jaime quote I loved â May the devil eat your soul and salt it well first.â I donât want Jane to hang, the actress playing her little sister was amazing, I felt her terror.
The final book in the series hasnât been written yet but season 8 is done filming. I trust them to wrap it up well for us.
I just finished it.
Show has jumped the shark.
It has, but I think the acting was top notch. When I saw the suicide warning at the start, I knew Jane wouldnât survive the episode. My heart broke into 1000 pieces, the young lady that played Frances is a strong actor. I want Frances to go to the Ridge with Ian and Rachel, I think they would take good care of the girl.
The idea that baby Faith lived- I get that itâs a show, but how would said baby remember a song sang as an INFANT??! More likely Jane and Francesâ mother was descended from another time traveler and learned the song. Who knows.
Bree and Roger wanting to live in the 18th century again? WHY??!!!
I went to Scotland May 2024, and one of the women I traveled with took this photo of Inverness at Dusk and gave me permission to hang on my wall. The daylight in May lasted until 10pm it was so great.
I went to C2E2 in Chicago yesterday, and got to have a photo op with the men of Outlander.

They are just as handsome in person.

David Berry is so kind, but seems a little socially awkward in real life (not uncommon for actors). He stated that 7B was all his hair and he doesnât have any grey at 40 (many people donât have grey at 40 but many do).

Charles Vanderaart is a damn BABY! In modern clothes he looks every bit of his 24, and I couldâve been his babysitterđ.
If you wanted to meet or get an autograph with Sam, you had to have the VIP Package⌠Iâm not even mad at Sam, but I donât have it like that!
