- Spring - new leaves and flower buds, baby animals, warming up
- Summer - those long, lazy, hazy days of summer, beaches, ice cream
- Fall - pumpkin spice lattes, brisk walks, animals hibernating, halloween
- Winter - snuggle season, hot chocolate, snowfall, gingerbread, christmas
- I can’t choose! (tell us why below)
It used to be fall but it stays hot for too long now.
I love all four seasons here in NC. Just when I get sick of one season another one shows up to start happiness with different weather again.
I live in lower Alabama, so Fall is a relative term here, with a real cool down happening in late November, or early December.
I loathe winter and fall depresses me. Spring can be nice albeit at times rainy but it’s the season that makes me the happies after a long Canadian winter. And summer gets too hot and humid here and I start to resemble a poodle.
I was surprised how many picked Fall as their favorite season. Even though Fall seems to start later and fizzle out quickly, I still enjoy being able to unpack all the sweaters and shut down the air conditioner. I could do without the pumpkin spice everything.
We’re not even halfway through July and I’m already fantasizing about it.
When I was a young un I’d have picked summer. I used to love summer, My birthday’s in August so I’d always have a swim party somewhere, we used to go to the beach/Florida twice, taking the kids to the pool, etc. Now I can’t handle the heat and I’ve always hated the bugs.
It’s all about fall now. Halloween, and I love pumpkin spice everything. I like Spring for the fact that it’s not winter anymore and before it gets too hot and the bugs come out I get a lot of shit done.
Winter. Bleh.
I do like winter if it doesn’t spend too much time below freezing. Snow is pretty (less than 3 or 4 inches please), the air is crisp and clear and there are no bugs.
