A Few Of My Favorite Things - The Mary Poppins Effect

Pet hates - miss us with that. The world and its dog have done it to death, boring!
Instead, us JAR-heads would love to read about your ‘pet loves’ - those little things in life that spark joy daily, weekly, sometimes or always - you get the idea. #spreadjoy

Binkying bunbuns :rabbit2: only, no mischievous chipmunks :chipmunk: trying to back-door in pet hates by saying they love it when something doesn’t happen etc - we see you :eyes:

Coffee is one of my favorite things. I was thinking about this yesterday because I am trying to cut back on my coffee. But then I just think “but why?” I love it so.

Coffee, chocolate, alone time (does that count? I love when everyone goes to bed and I can just be.)

Going to bed with freshly cleaned bedding, sleeping in undisturbed, kitty snuggles, hearing one of my favourite songs on the radio. Lilacs, snapdragons and willow trees. Fall colours.

Going to Ollie’s and finding Joanna Gaines’ cookbook for $4.99. And then starting to read it and it just…it is a good book, for cooking and getting to know more that Joanna and Chip are very relatable.

Finding a good biography about historical people I admire. Not talking “bodice rippers” but hard facts, and footnotes. I like to get used from Amazon because I like to see what other people highlight and thought important. Altho my dirty little secret is True Crime when I’ve had enough about the Wars of the Roses.

When my cat purrs just because she’s laying next to me on the sofa.

Homemade lattes, fresh bed linen after a shower/bath, being snuggled when it’s cold outside, a good book (a good book series even better), affection from loved ones and fur babies, when something goes to plan (no matter how big or small it is), a sunset on holiday, a rainbow, quacking ducks with/without ducklings waddling onto my driveway, foxes/hedgehogs exploring my front garden, my home being clean, neat & tidy from top to bottom (it happens often but doesn’t last long!), a long relaxing soak in a hot bath, foot rubs, freesias/fuschias/peonies/orchids.
