The nicest guy in the Midwest moves his family into a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone appreciates his extreme neighborliness. That includes their new next-door neighbor Calvin.
New episode this Monday.

Tina and Gemma fighting and Dave using the leaf blower to drown out their curses made me laugh. I also liked how Dave was team Tina and Calvin was team Gemma, it was a nice change of pace.
I laughed at Marty freaking out at the first sign of sickness. I feel you, dude. But your mama was right, as soon as your kid is born they will infect you with every disease imaginable and sneeze in your mouth. Good luck, heh.
First episode where Marty’s baby mama was tolerable. But they are giving them a lot of conflict.
Indeed. I am just not liking this storyline of Marty having a kid.
I did love Tina’s grandma shower and her ugly crying with Marty over the matching sneakers, lol.
And Calvin’s response that Marty is his mother’s son, lol.
Yeah the sad thing is the panning of the pregnancy storyline seems to be universal accross the board. No one seems to be enjoying it. But it’ here now, and they can’t really write it out of the show
Exactly. Oh well. I guess we’ll have to see how it plays out. I just wish Marty and his baby mama had some chemistry.
This episode was fine. I did laugh that Grover was the only one who could assemble the baby’s changing table. It’s nice to know Grover might have some hidden talents.
I thought Tina freaking out that the baby’s name might have been Penelope was ridiculous considering her objection was that Calvin once dated a Penelope in second grade, lol.
I think they played it well, her big emotional moment telling Marty about this other woman was funny. If only they made the moment last longer.
That’s true. I love Marty’s freak out and exasperation. Next time lead with that, mom!
Nice little season finale. The baby is adorable and I find it hilarious that Toni Braxton was there for the delivery, lol.
It’s just too bad they all missed the concert, heh.
Very curious to see where they take the show from here. It looks like Malcolm is moving back in with his parents and maybe he will start to face his relationship avoidance patterns next season, but they did not lay any sort of groundwork for Gemma, Calvin, Dave or Grover about upcoming storylines.
I agree, they left things rather open ended.
I saw the premier. It was fine but I can see the baby storyline getting tiresome, quick.
Man, Grover got big!
