Not another cage storyline. Once was bad enough with Victor caging first wife Juliaâs lover, Michael, and feeding him rats. But Brad had a crazy ex, his first wife, Lisa, who caged him as well.
Speaking of Julia, RIP to Meg Bennett, who passed away too soon at the age of 75 on April 21, 2024.

I watched BB from the get go but it became like my beloved ATWT, that fell to the wayside with an unwatchable, to me, cast.

I have to watch B&B. Canât miss an episode. Especially with Sheila in town. Y&R, on the other hand, is a drag to watch and I can barely bring myself to read the snarky posts.

And we had a cage story line on B&B, with Y&Râs own dear Sheila keeping a man in a cage in Houdiniâs basement.
I feel like there already was a third cage story line on Y&R, but itâs not coming to me. Was it Jack at some point? Or was it Pauly Tightpants?
Oh, wait, wasnât Thomas in a cage on B&B as well?
And wasnât Lauren caged at some point as well on Y&R?

Todays show was sooo bad. Connorâs story should be CONNORâs story, not his parentsâ. No one cares about a kid we see once a month if that. If they wanted to make it about Adam or Chelsea, why not just give it to one of them?
Nikkiâs jacket didnât fit well at all. Has MTS lost weight and they just didnât notice in time to get a smaller jacket? At this point I wouldnât mind in the slightest if. Nikki drank herself into a coma and the cops had her committed. Lord knows someone needs to make the tough choices because contrary to Jackâs assertion, there is nothing brave or strong or resilient about her. Sheâs a drunk with no desire to stop, and all the âbaby baby baby oh babyâ from Victor isnât going to stop her from getting hammered.
Why is Victor wearing a turtleneck and Summer a leather dress? Didnât anyone tell them itâs almost May?
In other news, why canât I start a new post here? All I can do is reply and I donât see the âsettingsâ that others have mentioned⌠This place isnât at all user friendly

From todayâs Canadian:
They find Claire in a storage unit but her story makes no sense to me. She was trapped and couldnât get free because a fat person fell on her and she couldnât roll them over? What?! Did I misunderstand?
And Lauren just randomly mentions going to L.A. and hoping Sheila is really dead this time. Since I donât watch B&B this came completely out of left field. No mention of how Sheila came back to life or anything?Just a weird throwaway line.
Paul trapped Phyllis-faced Sheila in a cage that Sheila had intended for the actual Phyllis. And Sarah Smythe kept Lauren and Jana in a cage for a while.

I blanked out all that crummy Phyllis-faced Sheila crapola. So ultimately this cage stuff has been way overdone.
B&B has had the good sense to ignore all of the idiotic Phyllis-faced Sheila horrendous crapola that happened in Genoa City. To them, it never happened. To me, it never happened, too. Sheila has been on and off B&B a few times since that miserable Y&R debacle. She fairly recently faked her death again with a bear attack story. She cut off one of her toes and framed some random bear for eating her and leaving behind one toe and some hair. Then she came back and wreaked more havoc. It turns out she had another child like 30 years ago, (the guy from the fibberty jibberty car insurance commercials), who is married to one of the main characters. So Sheila is obsessed with him now. Currently everyone has been believing that she is dead due to that main character just stabbing her to death. But, while the body that went into the flames at the crematorium had Sheilaâs face it also had ten toes. We know that was Sugar, not Sheila. Deacon Sharpe was the one at the crematorium who saw the ten toes. The only person who believed him was Lauren, who made a visit to LA to confirm that Sheila was really dead. More stuff is happening and Deacon and Fibberty Jibberty just found an unconscious Sheila yesterday.

Itâs weird. There are two different ways to âreply,â which is how you post here. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and hit that âreplyâ. If you hit the âreplyâ to a singular post it shows up if you click on the amount of replies at the bottom right of that post, but it also shows up in the thread at the bottom as though you had hit the bigger âreplyâ button at the bottom of the page. 
Didnât she also look like Lauren at one point? Or was it just Phyllis?
I love how soap plastic surgery makes you not only look exactly like the person you are copying down to the last freckle, but it also allows you to change your voice, height and weight.
I better go to GC and book an appointment with a plastic surgeon to look like Jessica Alba and miraculously grow seven inches.

Not to be the bearer of sad news (again) but Marla Adams aka Dina Abbott died on 4/25/2024 at the age of 85.

I saw that. Very sad but Iâm glad she was able to come back for a little while. I wasnât watching back in the day and didnât love Dinaâs story when she returned but MA away an amazing actress! Hope she and Jeannie are wreaking all kinds of havoc up there

Todayâs episode was particularly bad, but I say that as someone who went down from once a week to now watching once or twice a month. So maybe it is this bad every day now. I feel like I want to keep up with the show in case it gets better. But so far it is just getting worse and worse. I see the familiar faces, the actors doing their best to make it work as characters Iâve watched, some longer than the friendships Iâve had, for so many years. It makes me sad and a little angry.
