Hey guys,so it looks like I finally made it to level 1! I missed the end of fridays show (set it to record on WLIW but didn’t realize it started late). Anyway, I’m beyond sick of how Connor’s OCD is still being discussed like it’s stage IV cancer and he’s about to die. It’s a mental disorder but it isn’t a death sentence! And I truly thought I was going to reach thru the TV and punch both Billy and Chancesome the way they were describing Adam as an impediment to Connor’s treatment, rather than the kid’s father who is worried about his child.
I keep reading elsewhere how devoted and supportive Victor is to Nikki’s sobriety but if he truly supported her, he’d get her to the most exclusive in-patient rehab he can find. Whether that’s the Beth ford clinic, or someplace in Switzerland, I don’t care. Lord knows he has the money and influence. Telling her how strong she is, is NOT helping. She needs real help from qualified professionals. And as much as I love Jack, he needs to be taken to the wood shed for enabling Nikki like he does.

I’m also getting really annoyed with the Connor storyline. And also the CW storyline and the Ashley storyline, lol. So much “drama” but it’s all boring.
I’m currently watching Monday’s upcoming episode (Canadian here) but I will spoiler tag anything worth discussing since we don’t have a forum and a separate thread for Canadian discussion.

I also find the Conner storyline irritating. I don’t understand how Adam and Chelsea just up and left Conner in a facility based on the staff members opinion that they just met. Go get your boy and bring him home!
I’m a long time viewer and while I like Nick Newman, does he always need to be in a relationship? I see a possible Lily pairing coming our way.

Is Nick not allowed to be alone for more than 10 minutes ? Is it in JM’s contrast that he must be chem tested with every damn woman on the show and paired with the one of his choice whether there’s chem or not?

I personally think Connor would best be served at home as well, rather than at this residential place they sent him to.
Yeah I don’t understand why they HAVE to send him to a residential program? With all the money Adam has or has access to, is it really impossible to just hire the best doctors in the world to treat Connor at home?

I really don’t get it, either. Like you said, hire the best doctors and treat that poor child at home. These people have all the money in the world and they’re acting like they have no options at all.

Once again the writers take us for total morons. Nikki and Victor are celebrating their 40th anniversary? That would put Victoria and Nick in their mid to early 30s but they both have kids in their 20s. Would it have killed them to make it their 50th anniversary?
Absolutely made my husband and I LOL when Victoria spoke of her neighborhood where you could borrow a cup of sugar. Please b**** !

Haha, oh my god, I know. That was the dumbest thing ever. That would make Nick and Victoria younger than me. And Victoria was a guest at Victor and Nikki’s first wedding

I am not liking Claire. There is something about her…she is sliding into the Newman family too easily. Also hate all the fake welcomes.
Gee Likly and Daniel sure turned on each other fast after their lifelong bond. I hope there is a lawsuit because we have been owed one for a long time.
