yeah thats because from that angle you just see the red first, and the not eyes/beak which indicate its a chicken.

Thanks guys! It’s Theo in the hat actually. Funnynotfunny story is that he was at specialty vet as we were trying to figure out why he had basically nonexistent white blood cell count and I was freaking out. Meanwhile…he’s in the back with the vet techs wearing a chicken hat and having a great time 
.
He had zero symptoms, our regular vet found it by fluke. He was ultimately diagnosed with an autoimmune issue and we’re figuring out treatment.

It’s so scary when they are sick because they can’t tell you what’s wrong. Good you have a diagnosis, he looks like a happy boy.
The last two days I have felt like Mantis in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, instead of encouraging my Cosmo to hold a telekinetic grip, I’m encouraging him to climb the stairs! He was not having it last night but he seems okay now. (Him last night)
