I’ve edited my post & Steve McQueen a a great namesake!
Golden retrievers are my favourite dogs and I’ve always wanted one ever since I was a kid and watched Comet on Full House, lol. Norman looks like the bestest doggie ever and I wish I could reach through my computer and play with him.
Perturbed/disgruntled Norman is my fav Norman. #stilllaughing
Somebody (he looks so innocent ^^ right?) likes to try to take out his < ahem > urges on the fuzzy blankie and when I stopped him, he decided he would try to eat it.
Stevie likes to take out his urges on his shredding toy mounted to the top of his cage. First he puts his head to it, chirps to it, whistles to it, then proceeds to mount the hell out of it, lol. Then he hops off and goes back to shredding it. He’s a dirty birdie
He is usually so chill or smiling.

Here’s Goldy and Chewy (crabby boy.)
Goldy has needed a bath ever since I picked him up from his deceased (hoarder) owner’s house.
I’m scared to try it, he’s kind of mean, and he won’t even let me use kitty friendly wipes on him.

So Cosmo is my first dog. He’s 73 pounds (he was 93 when he came to me, we’ve been on a calorie plan together). Two weeks ago he refused to get in the car to go to the groomer- he is on arthritis meds, and he’s not sick (good appetite, energy, takes long walks); I’m crossing my appendages it was the weather.
Coming from a cat family- what do you, when your large dog won’t get in the car? I know there are mobile grooming, I will have to research mobile vets. We have a Petco we can walk to for grooming but the one that does vaccinations is too far.
Yes I’ve tried buying him various ramps etc. he won’t touch them, I donated them all to a shelter and dog boarding place.
I like his little moustache.
While I currently have no pets, here are some of my dearly missed fur babies through the years. Not the best photos, but trying to get pets to stay still is half the fun, right?
Here are Casey, who was a sweet, gentle Newfoundland, and Mackenzie, who - while scruffy here - was a Scottish Terrier pre-groom.
And, post Casey, there was Ben. The shelter site claimed he was 5. More like almost 15, but loved him no matter the age!
And Dakota was the last dog I had. He was about 7, per the rescue. And was, I think, some sort of Scottie mix. Had him for about 5 or 6 years after!
Here is another pic of Casey and Mackenzie. For whatever reason that summer, the groomer had shaved Casey. When she came home, we honestly thought we mistakenly had a black lab! LOL! But then we saw her black tongue (Casey was almost pure Newfie, but she had a smidgen of Chow in her, which is where that black tongue came in) and were relieved it was, in fact, her! Here she is, letting Mackenzie use her as an ottoman of sorts.
And there were other dogs through my childhood and teen/young adult years. Alas, no pictures of them scanned. And I miss each and every one of them.
PeeWee as a name so fits your dog, @Xeliou66 !
Cosmo got in the car to go to the groomer. He was bribed with treats, waffles and rice! But he did it.
Awww, Cosmo’s smiling! He knows he looks handsome.
Aww. I wish Cosmo got along with the cats this well. He is generally fine with Lady Reese, but he will bark if Cavendish invades his bed space. Cuddling is absolutely out of the question.
