Aww, @jewel21 , you have a 'tiel! So did I, for 25 years! Zack died in 2022. I miss him. What’s your bird’s name?
Wow, 25 years is a really good run for a cockatiel. I hope mine can make it that long, His name is Steve McQueen.
I went to Petco today for Cosmo’s shots. I realized this may be his last 3yrs series😭 (he is 11).
I have to bring him back after my trip next week- due to his age they are holding off two weeks on one.
Oh this is adorable!!! Kitty snuggles melt my heart <3
I wish Steve McQueen would let me pet him. Maybe one day. It’s only been 11 years, I guess I need to be patient, heh.
That makes me hurt.
My childhood cat, after a lifetime of liking to be near us but not touched or held, suddenly became a lap cat at a few months shy of 18 years old. She died 4 months after turning 18, so we got a little over 6 months of her being super cuddly.
Honestly though, it went a bit overboard, to the point where she would get visibly distressed if there wasn’t a lap for her to sit in. I think she had a bit of kitty dementia near the end, forgot how to eat and drink (and despite my parents’ best efforts at hand feeding her round the clock, lost a lot of weight) and was just cold and seeking out warmth/comfort.
I didn’t live with them at the time, so I just found it precious while it lasted.
What an adorable little kitty.
Awww. My Blake was never a lap cat until June 2020 after my other two cats had died. He loved my lap and getting in FaceTimes.
It was just he and I until Cosmo came January 2021, and Blake died December 2021.
PeeWee got a bath at the vet’s office today and is feeling very good. He loves his orange rope toy he has in this picture - he’s had the toy his whole life and plays with it everyday.

PeeWee looks so happy! His trusty rope probably calmed him, too. My dogs loved squeaky toys.
Yes PeeWee is very happy most of the time. He has several toys but he loves his orange rope the most - always has, like I say he’s had it for over a decade (PeeWee is 12 now) it’s still his favorite toy even though he has newer toys. He loves to play fetch with his rope and toss it around. He’s still incredibly active for his age.

OMG! He doesn’t look like a senior pup. What a sweetie. He’s lucky to have you! (And you’re just as lucky to have him!)
Yeah PeeWee is an amazing dog. A great companion to have. He looks and acts younger than he is.
Here is my sweet Leo. He is almost 5 years old, but he was new to us, as of February. He is super affectionate, but a bit on the naughty side. I’m thankful for him every day!
Your Leo is adorable, @crummybuttons !
