Unapologetically optimistic judge Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Harry Stone, follows in her father’s footsteps as she presides over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court and tries to bring order to its crew of oddballs and cynics, most notably former night court prosecutor Dan Fielding.
It appears this show has been renewed for a third season, they’re saying an 18 episode order.
I watch this show for John Larroquette. It’s not bad, it’s just not great, imo. I like it well enough to have it dvr-ed. I just mentally try to separate it from the original (because there is no comparison) when I watch. I do think it is finding its footing more and has been steadily improving.

I agree. I watch mostly for John Laroquette. It has been slowly improving but it’s not great. And I think I’m the only one who liked Neil and was sad they got rid of the character after the first season.
