Focuses on the FBIs Fugitive Task Force, an elite unit that relentlessly pursues and captures criminals on the Bureau’s Most Wanted list.
This show has the most compelling cases of the 3 FBI shows IMO, I like the darker, psychological nature of the cases, sort of reminds me of Criminal Minds at times.
This show has had a lot of cast turnover, but it has stayed good. Remy is a polarizing character amongst fans of the FBI shows, but I like him and think he’s a good lead. It was a great idea to bring Nina on to this show as a regular and keep her around in the FBI universe
This show is the best of the 3 FBIs IMO - has the most compelling cases - good premiere last night with another creepy villain. I was a bit unsure as to why he targeted the college at the end, other than perhaps he thought of people at the college as being arrogant and thinking they were above him, everything else made sense from the perp’s twisted views. I like the darker and more psychological nature of this show. Good to have it back.
I will have to catch up on the franchise online. Forgot they were starting last night! (Been a lot going on around here! )
Another good case tonight with good twists - it was kind of different in that it was more a tragedy of stupid kids than anyone being evil or unhinged, but in the end I didn’t feel sympathy for any of them - they all did despicable things and I liked Remy’s disgust with all of them and with the whole situation.
The thing that was odd was the deepfake of Remy - that felt tacked on and unresolved other than Isobel saying she would clear it up - instead of the personal scenes with Ray I would’ve preferred some resolution to that situation.
Another strong case last night - this show always has compelling cases with creepy and despicable villains. I was kind of annoyed at the whole “Barnes takes it personally and goes rogue” trope though, that’s pretty cliched. I’m wondering how Barnes and Remy’s relationship goes from here, not the first time they’ve butted heads - Remy was right to be pissed about this IMO.
This week’s episode was a very rare occasion where justice wasn’t served - it looked like the assassin would be let go or used as an operative by the CIA - frustrating ending, I wonder if they are setting up her return later. I would kind of like to have a multi episode villain for Remy and company to take down as long as they don’t make it ridiculous.
This show has the strongest cases and the best detective work of the 3 FBIs.
Strong episode last night, this show always has great cases - good twist of the guy being undercover and that he had gone rogue. I liked the case and investigation. It was weird that they mentioned for the first time Remy had a background in finance, that was odd because they never mentioned that until now - maybe it’s how he got the money to afford his nice apartment, which looks expensive for an FBI agent.
Good fall finale - we’ve seen squads of cops gone rogue before in Dick Wolf shows, so it was kind of obvious where it was going, but it was an intense episode. Pretty stunning when they used the taser on Ray. Remy had some great lines to the scumbags. The sheriff was played by a guy who’s played several memorable roles in the L&O franchise.
Interesting episode with how they incorporated a real life event into the plot - the 1985 Move bombing in Philly. I liked the hunt for the perp and the investigation
Good episode tonight, this show has consistently good cases, it was nice to see an episode that had a personal connection handled professionally and without an investigative screw up. I liked the manhunt for the rapist and thought it was a solid episode.
CBS has canceled the show. At least there will be time for a proper series finale!
The proposed FBI: CIA spinoff is still in play.
Huge fucking bummer that MW and International were cancelled - I really like both. I don’t give a rat’s ass about this proposed CIA spinoff and won’t be watching, it doesn’t sound much different from FBI original. My guess is that this is another cost cutting move, I bet International and MW are expensive to film and that’s why they’ve been axed. I’m very disappointed, I like all 3 FBIs and I think Dick Wolf will regret getting rid of 2 of them (if he was involved in the decision).
Not sure if Dick Wolf was involved, but I did read that CBS has a spinoff of Blue Bloods on the schedule and what seems like 100 other show spinoffs, so I guess something had to give. I expected maybe FBI: International to get the axe, but not both!
Yeah I figured one of MW or International might get axed but not both. It really sucks because both shows had come into their own and are having very good seasons. I’m glad FBI original is coming back, it has my favorite cast of characters, but the cases were best on MW. International was 3rd on my list of the FBIs but it was still good. Really awful decision to cancel them, especially if they go forward with that CIA spinoff, which doesn’t sound good or original at all.
