I don’t think they got into a fight or anything - they’ve actually been super sweet with each other lately and getting along really well. They do sometimes play but not too aggressive. I did find another bump on the one cat today as well, that wasn’t there yesterday. She also has a TON of dandruff. This could be related to fleas but also could be allergies to food or something (I am switching out her dry food right now). I haven’t noticed any bumps on the other cat, but she is less accommodating to me searching for them, and she has definitely been scratching more.
My vet is now closed on Wednesdays apparently, so I will call them tomorrow.
I did wonder about spacing out the treatments, so I may try that to enhance cost effectiveness, thank you! There are also cheaper options (e.g. Advantage for cats, which would save me about $25/month for the both of them) but I worry about side effects and they have tolerated this one well in the past. Also their weight division is 4 kg and my one cat is often fluctuating around that mark. I may look into that more though if this does become even more of a recurring issue, though I think I would prefer to just space out the one that they are on now if that is possible.
In tales of life with Cosmo, the robot vacuum got stuck in his tail! I felt so badly because I left to go on a walk, came back and he was trapped. I won’t leave it running if I leave the house. I don’t think he was hurt just perplexed.
PeeWee has an ACL tear unfortunately, I had to take him to the vet this week as he started hobbling badly and the vet said his ACL is torn. I think he injured himself while playing. He’s going to visit the vet again this week for a consultation with a surgeon, he’ll likely need surgery, I hope they can do it soon as he’s struggling to move around. In the meantime he’s on a couple of medications. I figured I would let everyone here know - I’m quite concerned about him, hopefully the vet is able to fix him soon. He’s a wonderful dog.
PeeWee is scheduled to undergo surgery on November 11 for his torn ACL. Figured I would let you guys know. He’s hanging in there okay right now, I just have to keep him calm which can be a challenge with a playful dog like PeeWee.
Here’s PeeWee. He’s doing okay with his injured leg, he’s adjusted and is still mobile, it can be challenging to keep a playful dog like PeeWee calm and he loves to play but he doesn’t need to be getting too excited with an injured leg. PeeWee turns 13 this month so he’s aging. He’s an awesome dog.
Yeah PeeWee turns 13 at the end of this month! It is hard to believe for me because of how playful he is, he has a lot of energy for an older dog, of course with his ACL tear I’ve had to keep him calmer so he doesn’t make things worse, he’s scheduled to have surgery soon, I hope it all goes okay.
