Give him hugs from me!
PeeWee is a sweetie! I hope his bladder stones will dissolve on their own! Glad his leg issue can be helped with meds, too!
PeeWee is a wonderful dog, thanks for the well wishes for him everyone
OMG those eyes!!! What wonderful work they do training disability service dogs, their care of these puppies makes such a difference in the lives of so many.
She’s just so precious my heart is melting.
Hugs to sweet PeeWee! I’m glad he’s going to be okay, good you caught the stones before it caused him any discomfort.
PeeWee is doing well - he’s switched over to his new food that should dissolve his bladder stones and he likes the food fine, so that was no issue. He’s moving around good and has resumed normal activity such as playing with his toys and going for long walks, he’s fully healed from surgery.
Those are beautiful kitty cats
Thank you so much! I’m glad they like the chair, sometimes when new things come into the house they smell “off” and the cats won’t go near it.
PeeWee got a bath and grooming recently, he’s looking sharp and feeling well. I’m very happy with how much energy he has, he’s bounced back fully from surgery and is moving well
PeeWee is doing well - he likes his new food that is hopefully dissolving the bladder stones the vet found, and he’s moving normally, no mobility issues lately. I bought him a new bed you can see here, he’ll lay against it but hasn’t climbed in it, he prefers his towels. Figured I would let everyone know he’s doing well.
I think PeeWee may give the bed a shot eventually, give it time. He looks great, @Xeliou66 !
PeeWee is an interesting fellow, he’s always liked towels more than beds. He’s a wonderful dog and he’s doing very well for a 13 year old pup.
I’ve found with a couple of cats that I have had, they hate the bed/cat tree/wherever unless I put a blanket or towel on it. Once the towel is there, it becomes their most favourite place. You could try that maybe, to encourage him to use it?
One of my cats had what we think was probably a seizure last night Luna has otherwise been totally healthy - the only other things we have had to manage for her have been acne and fleas!
I didn’t realize the episode was happening until she fell off of the cat tree (injuring her leg in the process) but I have cameras inside and one of them caught the episode, and she was having what looks like a focal seizure prior to falling.
Right now it’s just pain meds for her leg, and monitoring for any future episodes. If this does happen again, will need more testing.
I’m worried I may miss future episodes though, or have missed ones in the past. I can’t have eyes on her 24/7.
I hope your cat is okay, always scary when a pet has an emergency, best wishes to your kitty and I hope her health is okay
@TheVelveteenRabbit28 , very sorry to hear about your kitty. I hope everything continues to improve.
I hope Luna will be okay, @TheVelveteenRabbit28 ! Sending positive vibes!
Thanks everyone. So far she seems okay, hasn’t had another episode. I just wish I knew what caused the first one, and am worried I will miss another, as focal seizures can be quite subtle.
